DECENTRALIZED 2018: Europe's Top Blockchain Congress Returns

Registrations began for the innovative conference to be held in Athens from 14-16 November.
 
The University of Nicosia, the world's leading provider of education and research in blockchain technology and digital currencies, announces the launch of the DECENTRALIZED 2018 enrolment. The leading conference, which was organized for the first time last year in Cyprus with great success, will take place this year in Athens, in November 14-16, at the Divani Caravel Hotel.
 
Over 70 international speakers, business executives, academics, and technical experts will share their expertise in the fields of application and the effects of the blockchain revolution and digital coins. In addition, more than 20 companies from Greece and abroad will participate as exhibitors, presenting their products and services. The conference is expected to be attended by more than 1,000 people, mostly executives of businesses and organizations, as well as professors and students.
 
In the conference will be discussed the impact of blockchain technology in areas such as financial services, supply chain management, health, public administration and education. In addition, there will be thematic discussions on the effects on legislation and the regulatory framework (e.g. GDPR), the shaping of policies at European level, the social and ethical dimensions of the blockchain, and so on. Finally, the latest technological developments, as well as scientific work, will be presented, particularly in the convergence of the blockchain with technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (IA) and the Internet of Things (IOT).
