European Workshop COST- “Quantifying the Value of Structural Health Monitoring” at CUT

The European Workshop COST "Final TU402: Quantifying the Value of Structural Health Monitoring" took place at the Cyprus University of Technology on 18 and 19 October. The workshop presented and discussed the results of the actions and studies of the COST network relating to the development and implementation of health construction monitoring methods and the added value offered by the adoption of these methods in the design and management of structures and infrastructures.
 
The laboratory was attended by scientists specializing in these subjects from academia and industry from European countries such as Denmark, Switzerland, Britain, Italy, Norway, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia and Cyprus.
 
Coordinators of the specific COST program in which CUT participates are the Technical University of Denmark and the organization of the workshop at CUT was undertaken by Professor Toula Onoufriou and Dr. Konstantinos Michaelides from the Department of Civil Engineering and Geoinformatics Engineering.
