Entry Requirements
Applicants must have an accredited University degree, awarded by an accredited institution in the country where it operates, or a degree evaluated as equivalent to University degree by the Cyprus Council for the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KYSATS). Undergraduate students that are about to graduate can apply for a master’s programme, considering that they expect to receive their University degree before the commencement of the master’s programme.
Applications should be submitted electronically, using the online application system of the University, Student Portal, from February 1st until March 31st 2019.
However, late applications will be assessed depending on availability in each programme.
The following documents are required to be submitted, with the applications:
Proof of English proficiency: Acceptable proofs of knowledge of the English language are G.C.E/ I.G.C.S.E exams, Ο level with a grade of at least C or ELTS/ IELTS with grade of at least 6.5 or ΤOEFL with grade of at least 580 (paper-based test)/82 (internet-based test). Graduates of an English speaking University will not have to provide proof of English language knowledge.
Any other certificates and documents, such as samples of relevant academic or professional work (publications, articles, portfolios etc.) according to the internal rules of graduate studies of each Department where the application is submitted.
*Reference letters are required only for the master’s programmes of the Cyprus International Institute. In this case, the potential candidates are asked to provide the names of two referee who in a position to evaluate their academic and/or professional activities. Reference letters are sent electronically from the referees to the Studies Office at: studies@cut.ac.cy.
