New distance postgraduate program in Community Health Care

Frederick University announces the operation of the new Distance Learning Postgraduate Program in Community Health Care from the current academic semester.
 
The aim of the program is to provide high quality education and specialization in Community Health Care. Graduates will be able to provide optimal health care to prevent, maintain and promote health, and to restore the disease to individuals, families and special populations in the community.

It is the only Distance Master’s Program in Community Health Care in Greece and Cyprus.

Experienced teachers with specialization in the field of Community Health Care from Greece and Cyprus are teaching the programme.
 
The expected organization of National Health Systems will soon lead to the development of new jobs in the community.
 
The program is aimed at nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists, health care professionals and other specialists interested in community care.
 
Graduates will be able to work in Primary Health Care structures, such as Health Centers, rural surgeries, private and public home care structures, and support structures for the elderly and other vulnerable groups. Also, in refugee hosting centers, in large business units, factories, schools, but also in a number of other community structures.
 
Minimum time for graduation is 3 semesters (full-time) of 90 ECTS credits.
