New postgraduate program from the University of Cyprus in cooperation with Imperial College London

An innovative Master's Degree Program in Intelligent Critical Infrastructure Systems (MSc in Intelligent Critical Infrastructure Systems) is offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Cyprus since September 2019, in collaboration with the KIOS Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence (KIOS CoE) and Imperial College London, one of the world's top universities.
 
The program is designed by academics from the University of Cyprus and Imperial College London, with a significant research contribution in the field of Intelligent Infrastructure Systems of Critical Importance. The courses will be offered by teachers from both institutions. The duration of studies is 3 semesters for full-time students or 6 semesters for part-time students and corresponds to 92 ECTS. The language of instruction is English.
 
This pioneering program, which is unique in its field, stands out for its interdisciplinary character and aims at teaching modern methods and tools that exploit the potential of evolving Information and Communication Technologies for the purpose of monitoring, control, management and security of Critical Infrastructure Systems. Examples of these infrastructures are electricity generation, transmission and distribution systems, water supply systems, transport systems, telecommunications networks, and emergency response management and response systems.
 
The Curriculum provides the opportunity for professionals involved in Critical Infrastructure Systems to acquire specialization and training in modern and innovative methods and technologies in their field of employment. In addition, it is an excellent choice for BSc graduates from Engineering or Positive and Applied Sciences who wish to pursue a successful professional career in companies and organizations active in the program fields or for those who wish to continue their doctoral studies in scientific fields related to the Program.
 
Applications for admission to the Program have been launched and can be submitted online through the central post-graduate application system of the University of Cyprus. The deadline for submitting applications is 3 April 2019 (12 noon).

Tuition fees for the Master's Degree Program in Intelligent Infrastructure of Critical Infrastructure are € 6,500. A number of scholarships will be offered to students admitted to the program on the basis of their academic performance.
