The European University of Cyprus participated in the 46th International Conference of the Scientific Society: EuropeanTeratology Society, which took place in Berlin on 10-13 September 2018. European University Cyprus 3d year School of Medicine student, Miss Ismini Tzanaki, has received an excellent distinction. She was selected by ETS to present her paper entitled as: “IDENTIFYING LATENT SOURCES OF EXPOSURE TO MERCURY IN THE MEDITERRANEAN: THE CASE OF CYPRUS “,by :Tzanaki Ismini, Al-Jazrawi Zeyad, Lavranos Giagkos, Emmanouil-Nikoloussi Elpida Niki, at the “ETS Young Scientists Symposium”.
Ismini has collaborated and worked fruitfully with the 3d year Student Al-Jazrawi Zeyad for this paper. Relevant certificates were granted to the student Ismini Tzanaki from the Scientific Society: The European Teratology Society and the President Dr. Seamus Giles. The supervising Professor of the Medical School Elpida-Niki Emmanouil Nikolousis, an internationally renowned scientist in the areas of Histology and Embryology, said that "both our students, Ismini Tzanaki and Al-Jazrawi Zeyad deserve our warm congratulations on the efforts and their success ".
