CUT: 2nd Best University of Europe of 13 according to the new Times Higher Education ranking list

Continuous success for Cyprus University of Technology. On the 25th of April in the Czech Olomouc, CUT is ranked in the highly honourable 2nd place in the international ranking list of Universities, Times Higher Education «The Best Universities in New Europe», among the top 50 New Europe universities, i.e. the 13 countries who joined the European Union since 2004, and first among the Cypriot universities. It is noteworthy that based on the Times announcement, CUT ranks first in Europe in the "Citations" criterion, which highlights the international impact of the scientific work it produces.

It is recalled that the list of "Times Higher Education World University Rankings" 2017-2018 ranked CUT at 351-400 best universities in the world and first among Cyprus universities.
 
It is important to mention that in the same list University of Cyprus is ranked 3rd, placing our country's public higher education at the top of New Europe.
