The Research Promotion Foundation, in the framework of its responsibilities for coordinating the activities for the participation of Cyprus in the European COST Program, organizes a conference titled "Promoting and Spreading Excellence". The Conference will take place on 31 October 2018 (8:30 am - 1:00 pm) at the Filoxenia Conference Center in Nicosia, within the EUROMED 2018 Conference.
Keynote speaker at the Conference will be the COST Association Director Dr. Ronald de Bruin.
Content: The Agenda includes a presentation of the COST Program and the Organization's procedures, as well as the opportunities for Cypriot scientists and researchers to participate in COST Actions.
It will also give the opportunity to those who are interested in writing proposals to be informed about the preparation, submission and evaluation process, but also to get practical advice for success by Cypriot researchers who have achieved the Program and coordinate Actions.
Finally, the opportunities for networking and career development that arise through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions will be presented.
